The Innovation Competition invites you in Greater Cairo to bring your groundbreaking solutions aligning with the theme "Building for the Future: Sustainable Design for Achieving Net-Zero Real Estate," fostering creativity and sustainability in the real estate sector.

THIS YEAR’S CHALLENGE
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be assessed by an expert jury using the following weighted criteria:
1. Strategic Relevance & Industry Fit
● How well does the concept or solution address real estate and urban challenges?
● Clear alignment with one of the competition tracks.
● Relevance to real estate development, operations, sustainability, or user experience.
● Potential applicability within the development and real estate sector.
2. Product Innovation & Differentiation
● How novel and forward-thinking is the solution?
● Uniqueness of the technology, business model, or approach.
● Clear differentiation from existing market solutions.
● Innovative use of data, technology, design, or materials.
3. Impact & Value Creation
● What tangible value does the solution create?
● Measurable (or highly projected) impact on efficiency, cost, sustainability, accessibility, or experience.
● Contribution to ESG goals, climate resilience, or social impact (where relevant).
● Clear problem–solution fit with real-world benefits.
4. Technical Feasibility & Development Stage
● For Ideation-Stage: Clarity of the concept, technical soundness of the proposed approach, and realism of the development roadmap.
● For Post-MVP: Stability and functionality of the product, with evidence of pilots, deployments, clients, or traction.
● Overall technical feasibility of implementation at scale.
5. Scalability & Commercial Potential
● Can this idea or solution grow and succeed in the market?
● Market size and growth potential.
● Business model clarity and revenue logic.
● Ability to scale across multiple assets, cities, or markets.
6. Team Capability & Execution Readiness
● Does the team have the capacity to build, deliver, and scale?
● Strength and diversity of the founding and leadership team.
● Relevant industry, technical, or operational expertise.
● Demonstrated execution capability and strategic vision

IDEATION STAGE
Finally, the Innovation Competition is focused on “Ideation Track”, looking for early-stage ideas that have the potential to grow and scale. Open for creative minds among entrepreneurial enthusiasts and university students to empower visionary ideas. Throughout the program, participants will have access to capacity building and mentorship opportunities to refine their solutions and stand a chance to enter into a life-changing Exchange Program designed by the UN Global Compact Network Egypt .
